I didn't know what to expect at the beginning and thought it will be like the original Pumping Iron Movie!
At the beginning you see a scene where Kai Greene watches Phil Heath's first Mr. Olympia Win in 2011, so i knew the movie will be about the battle for the 2012 Mr. Olympia!
Main Characters of the Movie are Kai Greene & Phil Heath, the Top 2 Bodybuilders on the Planet!
The whole movie is narratated by Micheal Rourke ( The Wrestler) .
Phil Heath is shown as a arrogant Millionair driving luxury Cars like his Bentley and living in a Villa with a big Garden. Kai Greene is shown as the Underdog, reminds me a bit of Rocky, living in the Ghetto of Brooklin,New York. No luxury Cars like Phil Heath etc.
Then you see Dennis Wolf from Germany who lives in Las Vegas and wants to be the next Arnold Schwarzenegger. He wants to make a step into Movies like his Idol Arnold back then.
But he is also one of the best Bodybuilders of the World and fights for the Olympia title!
Roelly Winklaar and Hidetada Yamagishi are also involved in the Movie. They need to qualify for the Mr.Olympia to fulfil their dream and get up in the World of Bodybuilding.
Ben Pakulski, has high expactations for the Mr Olympia ! He gets his support by Doctors who connect his Bodyparts to Machines that show his Muscle Contraction for the maximal Growth possible!
Branch Warren living at his Farm in Texas, want's to win against his rival Dennis Wolf !
Ofcourse his big dream is also the Mr Olympia Title !!
Victor Martinez works his A** off for his Comeback in the Elite of Bodybuilding to support his family and kids and be the Victor Martinez that was the uncrowned Mr Olympia in 2007 !
After all they all live and earn their money by Competetive Bodybuilding, the Price Money & the Sponsors! It's a business a very hard business!
Victor wants to be checked up by Steve Weinberger, a big Judge of the IFBB, to get the opinion whether or not he should try to qualify for the Mr Olympia!
He looks good, but not Olympia Ready is the message of Steve which is a very sad moment for Victor and his professional Career. Victor was in Jail for 7 month's, a very long time for a professional Bodybuilder like him.
You see how all those Athletes relief their pressure with different hobbys like driving expensive Sportscars, doing horseback riding, or painting Pictures.
Every Athlete has his own strategy and hobby besides Bodybuilding.

The Athletes all work for the Big Day, the Mr Olympia Competition in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the end it's a battle between Kai Greene and Phil Heath and Phil win's by one point ahead of Kai.
Roelly and Hidetada don't make it in the Top 10, a big dissappointment for them.
Kai is sad, he wanted the title so much and thought he would be the Winner... The Movie ends!
